Our Elisen gingerbread is baked by hand using a pastry recipe without flour and with a corn wafer and then provided with an edible logo on sugar paper. Gingerbread, logo, and chocolate icing are i.e. without egg, milk or other animal ingredients.
Despite the modern recipe for gingerbread, you will not taste any difference to the original Nuremberg Elisen gingerbread!

Original from the city of Nuremberg! The finest of their kind. The extra high nut content in the dough makes our gluten-free Elisen Lebkuchen a special taste experience. These fine gingerbread cookies are baked completely without wheat flour and vegan (also wafer & logo). You can taste the quality - guaranteed!
INGREDIENTS:
Hazelnuts, almonds (at least 40%), sugar, chicken egg white, marzipan (almonds, sugar, water, invert sugar), lemon peel / orange peel (lemon peel, orange peel, glucose-fructose syrup, sucrose, acidifier: citric acid; antioxidant: sulfur dioxide), Dark chocolate couverture: only for chocolate cake (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin E 322), honey, apricot jam (glucose-fructose syrup, dried apricots, sugar, gelling agent: pectin; acidifier: citric acid, spices), spices Ammonium bicarbonate E 503 (staghorn salt); Salt, wafer (potato starch, corn flour, pregelatinized corn starch).
